How the afternoon goes
- Private herbal steam sauna. Your own sauna, filled with the scent of local herbs. Nobody else, no rush.
- Herbal hot tub for two. A wooden tub with warm water and herbs, and a bottle of champagne or wine standing next to it. This is the moment most people talk about afterwards.
- 75-minute hot stone massage. The heart of the package. Warm stones, long strokes, therapists who know exactly what they are doing. Not a tourist rubdown. A real massage.
- Hair care, if you like. Wash, shampoo, conditioner, as an add-on (50,000 VND per person). Small thing, oddly wonderful after a day in the dust of Ninh Binh.
- A fresh Vietnamese meal. Lunch or dinner, depending on your time, made for you. You leave fed, warm and slightly floating.
Total: about 3.5 to 4 hours. Plan nothing afterwards. You will not want to.
